In war-torn Mosul and Raqqa, and later in Paris during the Yellow Vests protests, the director pits Sota—a robot equipped with artificial intelligence—against the tragedy of humanity. As the story unfolds, the relationship that develops with the machine raises questions about our human condition and our future.
