Jacqueline vit seule à Capbreton, au bord de l’Océan Atlantique, en France. Elle éprouve un véritable amour pour cet océan qui rythme son quotidien, mais il est aussi celui qui la sépare de son rêve : aller au Groenland. En attendant ce voyage, elle entretient une correspondance avec Esther, une groenlandaise qui vit dans la ville d’Ilulissat.

Séparées par un océan, les deux femmes échangent sur leurs quotidiens et leurs visions du monde.

Jacqueline lives alone in Capbreton, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in France. She loves the ocean, which punctuates her daily life, but it also stands between her and her dream: to go to Greenland. In anticipation of this trip, she keeps up a correspondence with Esther, a Greenlander living in the town of Ilulissat.

Separated by an ocean, the two women talk about their daily lives and their visions of the world.
